A new product line for student players
Due to the increasing popularity for our reeds, we have been lucky to hire two more recently graduated conservatorium oboe students and they have been successfully trained to make the KGR style of reeds. As a result, our productivity has increased dramatically and we have decided to introduce a new line of oboe reed products, especially designed for student players.
This new student line of reeds uses the same materials and same measurements as our premium line of reeds. The difference is that our premium professional & standard line use a cane with a density between medium hard ~ hard and the student line reeds will use cane with a density between medium hard ~ medium. Therefore, I believe that our student line of oboe reeds will be more suitable for the embouchure of beginner to intermediate level oboists.
INTRODUCING KGE REEDS NEWLY DEVELOPED AMERICAN STYLE PROFESSIONAL OBOE REEDS !!!!!!!!!
AFTER A LONG PERIOD OF DEVELOPMENT, WE HAVE SUCCEEDED IN PRODUCING A NEW STYLE OF OBOE REED FOR THE AMERICAN OBOIST.
WE ARE SURE THAT THIS IS A HUGE IMPROVEMENT ON THE AMERICAN STYLE REEDS WE PREVIOUSLY MADE.
THESE NEW REEDS ARE THE RESULT OF EXTENSIVE TESTING AND CONSULTATION WITH SOME OF THE BEST TEACHERS AND PERFORMERS IN THE USA TODAY.
KGE REEDS is a regular exhibitor at international music festivals and conferences and as a result has a unique position for a retailer of oboes and cor anglais in Australia. We are able to hand select oboes and cor anglais ordered by our customers if we are given enough time to let the manufacturers know what we will require. This ensures that our customers can receive the best quality instruments available anywhere in the world.
This coming July between 22~26, 2008 we will be attending and exhibiting at the international double reed society 37th Annual conference Brigham Young University in Provo Utah USA. If you are thinking of making a purchase, and like the idea of having your instrument specially chosen for you, you might like to contact us before one of these events.
